Sore Thumb Productions, LLC is a
production company founded in 2004 by
producer/writer/actor Brian Lynch. Our mission is to produce funny and
entertaining projects for a variety of media including film,
television, and the
internet. We're serious about our work, but we don't take ourselves too
seriously.
Bio
Brian Lynch is a multi-talented
screenwriter, producer, and actor
hailing from
Scranton, Pennsylvania. In 1996 Brian graduated from Georgetown
University
with a Bachelors of Science in New and Small Business Management.
While at Georgetown, Brian’s versatility was an invaluable asset in a
number
of positions including Resident Assistant, Cartoonist for the
Georgetown Voice,
Snowboard Instructor, and Jungle Cruise Skipper at Walt Disney World.
Upon graduation, Brian began working for Laminations, Inc. where he
served
as the Vice President of Marketing and Information Systems. In 1999,
Brian moved
to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment, where he studied
screenwriting
at UCLA, acting at the well-renowned Howard Fine Acting Studio (master
class), and
Improvisation with Chris Barnes formerly of Second City and ABC’s Life
With Bonnie.
Brian is a recovering game show/trivia junkie. In 2000, he won Ben
Stein’s Money,
in 2004 he won a cruise on the theme park version of Who Wants to be a
Millionaire at Disney/MGM Studios, and in 2007 he was the first
contestant to win
the grand prize on Merv Griffin’s Crosswords.
